    Huge portal with human guides to 700 subjects. Navigate to the subject/topics you want.  Try Education > Primary/Secondary Educators for a wide range of resources, including those for Special Education.

  • Big Chalk
    Extensive, highly regarded US site with sections for teachers, librarians, parents; primary, middle and secondary levels. Free newsletters, updated weekly, give tech tips, top 8 sites or links on a selected theme. Access to many key resources.

  • BizEd (University of Bristol)
    This is the UK's top site for business education and is packed with useful information, tips and links. While there are special sections for students of accounting, economics, mangement, travel and tourism, the general sections are heloful for any student (or teacher).

  • BlueWeb’n
    A library of Blue Ribbon web sites for education, all subjects, cross-referenced. Tutorials, activities, projects, lesson plans…Updated weekly and highly regarded. Filamentality’s home.

  • BYTEachers (Association of Teachers' Websites)

  • Cikgu.Net
    Malaysian education portal supporting the e-learning environment at pre-school through university levels. Now available both in English and Malay, it aims to be a repository for teaching and learning resources including tools for developing content. There is a TESL forum and a fledgling lesson plan section.

    ‘Where educators go to learn.’ Includes lesson plan libraries. Searchable bank of 500,000 web resources

  • EmTech
    A huge database: 15,000 + resources in 120 categories, alphabetically listed on the index page for easy access. Example: Kids' Sites yields 300 links + 12 search engines for kids. The downside is that few items are annotated so this is a site for those willing to spend time checking out the possibilities to discover the really useful entries among the mediocre.

    A free online service giving acess to subject-spcific resources selected for quality and relevance by subject specialists.  Presentations, tutorials, training materials and other resources can be downloaded for educatonal use.
